January 14, 2013 By 7th Media Digital |  0 Comments

Mobile Web application Looks like it’s browser week for all devs and users. Because after Firefox 18 for desktop was launched, Google followed suit with Chrome 24 for desktop and Chrome 25 for Android-based phone and tablet devices.

While no big features to boast in this version, Chrome 24 is 26 percent faster than last year’s version, which is now billed by Google as its fastest Chrome release ever. So if you want to stop reading and get a taste of Chrome 24, just download the file from Google.com/Chrome to get the new release or use the browser’s built-in silent updater.

Made even more appealing to developers, some support has been added like a new HTML 5 datalist element support that lets the coders specify a list of suggested dates and times for input elements. Another anticipated support is the so-called MathML that lets developers code mathematical content in a clean and consistent way. A support for CSS Custom Filters is also added in this version.

Now let’s proceed to Chrome Beta channel version 25, which Google has dedicated for its mobile operating-based phones and tablet devices running 4.0 and up. Why the beta version should owners of mobile devices running Android feel extra-excited is the earnest desire by Google to give mobile users the best browsing experience other than their desktops.

Chrome 25 for Google’s mobile operating system sports a faster JavaScript performance of 25 to 30 percent, and came as the latest update following version 18 which was launched in November last year. New HTML5 features for developers, such as CSS Filters, are added in this mobile-dedicated browser from Google.

As is customary in most beta versions, Chrome for Android 4.0 devices lets users take a close peek at what features the search giant’s Chrome team are baking, what enhancements to add, and bugs it is hoping to get fixed.
